Yale wins Prestigious Brand Award in Hong Kong

Yale has been named one of the top 10 home product brands in Hong Kong by well-renowned interior design magazine Interior Beautè in its July 2016 issue.
The ASSA ABLOY Group company is the only home security entrant to be named among the top 10 popular household brands in Interior Beautè’s Residential Design and Home Products Brand Award for 2016.
To receive the recognition as one of the top home products brands, Yale’s home security range had to undergo a rigid assessment by a panel of judges, which included members from the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and interior design associations and institutes. During this assessment, the aesthetic design, divine functionality, and innovative technology of Yale’s products were examined. A poll then followed, where Interior Beautè’s readers voted for the brands in each category.
Irene Yip, general manager of ASSA ABLOY Hong Kong, says that as Yale was the only home security brand among the winners, it has proven itself to be “the metropolitan’s favorite lock brand.”
“Yale’s innovative digital door locks and other home security products provide distinguished safety features and attractive design,” she says. “When you feel secure, you are free to enjoy life, and this philosophy of Yale has struck a chord with the judges and readers.”
H.F. Mak, retail & distribution sales department manager at ASSA ABLOY Hong Kong, says that one of the Yale digital door lock’s distinguished features, whereby users simply scan their fingerprint to activate the lock, goes down well with busy Hong Kong residents.
“Time is money, and it’s great to save every second,” Mak says. “On top of that, the one-touch easy scan fingerprint verification also helps minimize the risk of fingerprints being duplicated for customers’ peace of mind.”
